Tell A Friend Script
This Tell A Friend Script was created to make it easy for fellow webmasters to add
"Tell A Friend About This Page" functionality to their web sites. This tool is provided
100% free-of-charge for unlimited use and is not supported
by advertisements. There is a small blurb at the bottom of each email
that reads "powered by ITistic (www.ITistic.com) - Complete solutions for technology
driven business". Please tell your fellow webmasters and colleagues about this useful
tool!
PLEASE NOTE:
All information gathered from your users will NEVER in any way, shape, or
form be sold or provided to any third party. The information gathered will also
NEVER be used for solicitation. The only emails your users will ever receive
will be ones initiated by your users.
Since this script is provided free of charge, all we ask is
that you please place a link on your web site pointing to this page using the code
below. This is not required, but we would certainly appreciate it.
How to add the Tell A Friend Script to your web site:
To add the Free Tell A Friend Script to your web site, simply copy the code in the
text box below and paste it into your HTML where ever you would like the text "Tell
A Friend About This Page" to appear. You also have the ability to change the text
in the link by changing the text Tell A Friend About This Page being sure
to leave the quotes on both sides of the text. If you would like to receive a copy
of all Tell A Friend emails sent from your site, simply remove the // from
the line that starts with strITisticTAFBCC and change the email address on
that line to your email address. This text will adhere to any styles and surrounding
HTML you currently have. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to email
me at shawn@ITistic.com.
How to use an image link instead of the standard text link:
In order to use an image instead of a text link all you need to do is modify the
strITisticTAFText line as shown below. Be sure to replace the image URL (/images/image.gif)
with the URL of the image you wish to use.
