Hosting Outage

During the morning hours of Monday, May 3rd, 2010 our customers experienced numerous hosting outages. These outages affected email, web, DNS, and database hosting. These outages were due to routing issues experienced by our provider. Here is a timeline of the outages:

  • 1:45AM EDT | First outage reported. Routing issues at our provider result in connectivity issues and outages for all of our hosting customers. Service restored in approximately 85 minutes.
  • 9:00AM EDT | Second outage reported. Additional routing issues at our provider result in connectivity issues and outages for most of our hosting customers. Some customer's servers are only inaccessible for a few minutes, others for about an hour.
  • 10:10AM EDT | The routing issue appears to be resolved, although we have not yet received an update from our provider. As of this time all of our servers are online and responding to all requests with intermittent packet loss.

Please be assured that these outages have not affected our physical servers in any way and our servers remained online and operational during the outages. We appreciate your patience while our provider resolves these issues. Our sincerest apologies to all of our hosting customers. We will continue to update this post and communicate via Facebook and Twitter should there be any further outages.
